This collection contains correspondence, 1912-1944; photographs, 1893-1919; a memorial button, 1927; and printed material, 1974-1975. The correspondence, six original letters and typed copies of several unpublished letters, is from Eugene Debs and his brother, Theodore, and is addressed primarily to Frank Holl and C. F. Anderson. Also included are typed copies of Eugene Debs' poems, writings, and an article about him. The photographs are of Eugene Debs, Frank Holl, the Holl Range, and a room interior. The button commemorates the First Annual Debs Memorial. The printed material includes booklets on the Eugene V. Debs Foundation and home, and a bibliography of material about Debs and his writings that are located in the Vigo County Public Library in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The third letter is from Theodore Debs and written on November 19, 1904 and it is addressed to Frank X. Holl and in it Debs passes on Eugene V. Debs regards to the Holl family. The fourth letter was written by Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl on April 14, 1905, it discusses Samuel Gompers's attack to Debs and he states " The more they attack, the stronger I grow in the confidence of the working class..". The fifth letter was written on December 28, 1905 by Eugene V. Debs to Frank X. Holl expressing is appreciation for the pictures he received of the Holl family. The sixth letter was written by Theodore Debs to Frank X. Debson August 26, 1906 to inform him that his package for Eugene V. Debs has been received. The seventh letter was written by Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl on May 3, 1907 and in it Debs states that he is unable to write the article Holl requested. The eighth letter, was written by Eugene V. Debs on August 13, 1907 and in it Debs shows his excitement due to the victory in Idaho. The ninth letter was written on September 30, 1907 by Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl thanking him for the books he sent him. The tenth letter was written on September 30, 1907 by Eugene Victor Debs informing Frank X. Holl of his departure for the West. The eleventh letter was written on August 21, 1908 by Theodore Debs to inform Frank X. Holl of the arrival of the books and a contract calling for $30 for which he asks for Holl's reply. The twelfth letter was written by Eugene Victor Debs on August 21, 1908 to inform Frank that he did not yet receive aby copy of Oldham's paper. The thirteenth letter was written on August 22, 1908 by Eugene Victor Debs to notify Frank X. Holl of receiving the envelope with clippings and let him know that he is unable to write the article for Oldham. The fourteenth letter was written on September 16, 1908 by Eugene Victor Debs to Mrs. Ann Love Holl to greet her and thank her for the "preserved delicacies" she mailed to him. The fifteen letter was sent on November 21, 1908 by Theodore Debs to Frank X. Holl informing him of Eugene Victor Debs' response to his predictions and suggestions about Manilla and the East. The sixteenth letter was written on October 17, 1910 by Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl to notify him that he will be unable to visit his home due to the busy schedule of the program. The final letter was written on November 21, 1910 by Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl to thank him for the picture he received.

The seventh letter was written on October 15, 1894 and it states Debs plan to speak in Terre Haute to Holl. The eight letter was written on November 28, 1984 and it in Debs announces to Holl his plans to quit the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen (BLF). The ninth letter was written on December 8, 1894 and it Debs informs Holl of his intent to build up the American Railway Union (ARU) and his upcoming events. The final letter was written on December 31, 1894 and in it Debs announces his plans to hold a meeting for the American Railway Union (ARU) and encourages Holl to invite people to have the "largest possible audience".
