Description

Letters titled " American Railway Union" from Eugene Victor Debs to Frank X. Holl. The first letter was written on September 23, 1895 and in it Debs mentions his appreciation of the business relationship he has with Holl. The second letter was written on September 28, 1895 and contains statements of Debs announcing to Holl that the American Railway Union (ARU) is "sweeping through the eastern states like a prairie fire". The third letter was written on December 7, 1895 and in it Debs informs Holl that he will not be able to visit Minneapolis in January. The fourth letter was written on March 24, 1896 and it states Debs apology to Holl for not being able to see Mrs. Ann Love Holl when she was in Atlanta. The final letter was written on May 31, 1897 and announces Debs planning to prepare a syndicate letter for middle states section.
