Description

Letters titled "American Railway Union" from Eugene Victor Debs in Terre Haute to Frank X. Holl and Mrs. Ann Love Holl. The first letter discusses a promised photo of Debs to Mrs. Holl and was written on April 25, 1895 and it was sent to Mrs. Ann Love Holl. The second letter was written on may 15, 1895 and was addressed to Frank X. Holl stating that Debs has mailed a "package of photos in fulfillment of a promise of long standing with Mrs. Ann Love Holl". The final letter was written on May 16, 1895 and it was sent to Frank X. Holl by Debs to inform him of a "carefully devised secret scheme to break up the American Railway Union (ARU)".
