Nova Africa Descriptio by Frederick de Wit, 1660. Hand colored decorative map published by de Wit in Amsterdam. The map includes decorative panels showing birdseye views of Alcair, Alexandria, Alger, Tunis, Tanger, and Ceuta across the top and eight costumed figures along the sides. The map features two decorative cartouches. 21.5 in x 17.5 in. [Gift of Dr. Jack Franke.]
