Colored coastal map of Guinea and modern-day Ghana; a Dutch version of Bellin’s map of the Guinea Coast. Title of page located outside of map's border, within bottom margin in Dutch as "Vervolg van de Kust van Guinée, van Kaap Apollonia tot aan de Riviere Volta, genoemd de Goudkust, geschikt op de Daghregisters der Zeelienden, door N.B. Ingenieur des Fransen Zeevaards." Decorative, floral, title cartouche located to the right, within interior of Atlantic Ocean. Additional floral cartouche provided within interior of coast, to the left, containing additional notes in French and Dutch. Cartographer includes printed annotations within region's interior and along the coast(s). Border surrounding map includes scale. Scale key, available within title cartouche at bottom right, provides three different scale measurements. Extra map key, located in bottom left corner, provides information on colonial holdings within region. Landforms and waterways generally located throughout. Hachures depicted along coast(s).
