Image of Russell George McElyea, a Fort Worth man who took charge of concessions for the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. McElyea has to be both a platoon sergeant and chief of staff at the same time, he and his crew are already planning and prepping merchandise and food for the 3-day event, McElyea is also gaining weather reports to keep coffee production up. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 29, 1950.
