Description
R. F. Rogers, left, and Frank Vollintine, new supervisor of the Dalworth Soil Conservation District, look over the workings of a new combination grain and fertilizer drill bought by the district for use by farmers at a small rental fee. Rogers, foreman of the Clarence Jones farm near Smithfield, seeded 40 acres of vetch and rye in the machine's first operation. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 12, 1950.
