Mrs. Alice McEwen of 819 Samuels, secretary, left, and Mrs. Ola Rollins of 820 Samuels, chairman of the executive board of the Woman's Relief Corps of the Grand Army of the Republic Auxiliary, placed flags on the graves of six Union soldiers in Oakwood Cemetery. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 30, 1950.
