Description
Members of the University Place Study Club planted a tree in Blue Bonnet Circle as a memorial to deceased members. Left to right, Mrs. Roy Nussbaum, president and charter member; Ellis M. Sowell, vice president of the club's Book Club; C. H. Wimberly, president of the Club's Art Club, and R. N. Grammer, president of the Club's Music Club. The book, music and art clubs are interclub organizations. A bronze plaque at the base of the tree explains its purpose. Six woman wearing dark colored suits and hats.
