Boy Scout Terry Marshall of Troop 17 places a flag at the grave of Lieutenant Jack S. McRoberts under direction of two Gold Star Mothers. Mrs. R. J. Mosley, left, of 3431 Millet and Mrs. J. S. McRoberts, mother of the World War 2 officer of 3438 Littlejohn and Pat McDavid of the Blackstone American Legion Post. Similar Memorial Day flag markers were placed at other Fort Worth's war dead graves by the Legion, Gold Star Mothers and Scouts. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 28, 1950.
