Description
A flash flood caused by a tremendous cloudburst July 17 afternoon sent waters four feet deep pouring into the Linwood Addition of Fort Worth. Many roads were impassable. Montgomery Ward salesman rescue a group of children in a store boat. Eddie Orand is at the rear of the boat; on the bow, left to right, are Phil Rice and Glen Brandon, all store employees. The man with the umbrella is unidentified.
