Description
A flash flood caused by a tremendous cloudburst July 17 afternoon sent waters four feet deep pouring into the Linwood Addition of Fort Worth. Many roads were impassable. Policeman Johnny Shipley runs his three-wheeler motorcycle through the flood waters on Wingate Street while an unidentified man carries clothes from home.
