Description
A flash flood caused by a tremendous cloudburst July 17 afternoon sent waters four feet deep pouring into the Linwood Addition of Fort Worth. Many roads were impassable. Numerous residents of Linwood Addition on the near West Side were forced from their homes Friday by flood waters. Lucas Funeral Home attendants pick up A. W. McCanless, clad in pajamas. McCanless of 2716 Merrimac was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital's.
