Description
When Mrs. Mary Daggett Lake was honored Friday at the Botanic Garden, one of the "pictures" arranged by Mrs. Alfred McKnight recognized her musical interests and used a copy of her song, "Have You Ever Been to Texas in the Spring," in the arrangement. The Fort Worth Garden Club, which has had the Garden Center as its chief civic project since its opening 20 years ago. Mrs. Alfred McKnight "painted" the 12 character sketches, with flowers and various accessories, to depict outstanding personal attributes of Mrs. Lake.
