Description

Houses, barns and garden spots lay deep in water in the north section of Brownwood after a 5-inch rain storm. Slow moving traffic can be seen on North Center and Main Streets in background. Disaster agencies are moving into the city from various points in the state. An air view of the flood of Brownwood, Texas can be seen in the photograph. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 13, 1951.
