Description
Extent of flood waters at Brownwood shown near traffic circle at north section of town. Note vehicles submerged in right foreground and poles and buildings protruding from watery footings. About 300 persons were forced from their homes in lowlands when the flood struck. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition June 13, 1951.
