    Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Texas A&M Aggies at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Thousands of football fans traveled from all over to catch the game. In attendance left to right are E. G. Ashe, Eleanor Jeffrey, Mrs. Ashe, and Nancy Jeffrey. Mr. and Mrs. Ashe are the proud parents of Aggie Sweetheart for the day Miss Anna Ruth Ashe. Eleanor and Nancy are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jeffrey, neighbors to the Ashe Family. Mr. Ashe is dressed in a hat and a three piece pinstripe suit. Elanor, ten, is wearing a hat, sweater, and a plaid skirt. Mrs. Ashe is wearing a hat, dress, blazer, and a corsage. Nancy, six, is wearing an outfit matching her sister. The field and players are in the background. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 19, 1941.
