Description

The Red River Shootout game between the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas is being held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The rivalry began in 1900 and has been running since. The 1941 contest is all Longhorns early as the Sooners struggle to ignite their offense. The Longhorns are shown driving the ball down the field. A Longhorn back is running down the middle of the field at the forty-two yard line. He already picked up the first down and is looking for a big play. Sooner defensive player, 34, is attempting to corral the runner. The Longhorns went on to win the game 40-7.
