Description
A football game between the Masonic Home High School and North Side High School is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. Mason fullback Gordy Brown is shown with the ball early in the second quarter. He cut back over the left tackle from the five-yard-line and pushed the ball into the end zone. The touchdown went for the first score of game. Bobby Putnam (51) is the North Side player nearest to the camera. An unidentified Steer is attempting to wrap-up Brown. At least 11 young men are in the photo frame, all wearing football uniforms, football boots, and stitched leather helmets. (Star-Telegram Photos by Tom Dillard) Published Star-Telegram Morn.
