The Baylor Bears are opening their college football season at Municipal Stadium in Waco, Texas. They are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys. Attending the game, left to right, are Mrs. Solon Featherston, Mrs. M. D. Corbin, Mr. Featherston, and Mr. M. D. Corbin. Mr. and Mrs. Featherston are Cowboy supporters from Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Corbin are form Waco, Texas. Mrs. Featherston is dressed in a wide-brimmed hat, button-up blouse, and a skirt, holding a handbag under her arm, glasses in her hand, and wearing a wristwatch and wedding ring. Mrs. Corbin is wearing a hat and a plaid dress with an elaborate initials broach at the collar, a belt, and rings on both hands. She is holding a cloth handbag. Mr. Featherston is dressed in a fedora hat, eyeglasses, button-up shirt, necktie, tie chain, vest, and trousers, a ring on his left hand, with his suit jacket from his three-piece suit on the chair behind him. Mr. Corbin is wearing a hat, dress shirt, diagonal patterned necktie, leather belt, wristwatch, and suit pants, with the suit jacket on the chair back behind him. He has on a stone ring on his left hand and a wrist watch. Baylor won the game 24-0. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Sep. 28, 1941.
