Description

The 1941 college football season is opening at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. The Texas Wesleyan Rams are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys. Some 300 West Texas rooters are invading Fort Worth. Attending the game, left to right, are Eugene Zimmerman, Bill Agerton and George Benzon. All three boys are thirteen-year old students at Amon Carter Riverside High School. They are in the stands, cheering on their team. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Sep. 21, 1941.
