Description
The 1941 college football season is opening at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. The Texas Wesleyan Rams are hosting the visiting Hardin-Simmons Cowboys. Attending the game, left to right, are Jack Bird, I. E. McWhirter, and Bobby White. Jack, fourteen, is dressed in a plaid short-sleeve shirt and trousers. Mr. McWhirter is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit with a light shirt and a polka dot tie and a handkerchief in his breast pocket. He is wearing rimless eyeglasses. Bobby is dressed in a t-shirt tucked into trousers.
