Description
Murray Evans is the quarterback of the Hardin-Simmons University football team in Abilene, Texas. Known as "Boomtown" by his teammates, he is a native of Burkburnett, Texas. He hopes to build on the success of the Cowboys' undefeated 1940 season. Evans is shown dropping back to throw a pass in practice. He is dressed in a number 30 football uniform and a helmet.
