Description
Captain John N. Green, of Abilene, Texas, left, 1st Battalion staff, and Lieutenant Colonel Blucher S. Tharp, of Amarillo, Texas, 1st Battalion commander, reviewing the 36th Division's 131st Field Artillery positions on the field map that Lieutenant Tharp is holding. Both men are dressed in military uniform and are wearing hats that are strapped to their chins. Gun holsters can also be seen on their waists, as well. Behind them, a parked car can be seen.
