Description

Soldiers at the Quartermaster Depot in Fort Worth, Texas, are packing shoes that will trample the Axis Powers. They are using a new "squeeze play" method to fill the shipments to Uncle Sam's soldiers on the battlefront. The technique saves an estimated forty-percent in vital shipping space. Packing the boxes, left to right, are Lieutenant Colonel Harvey E. Hanna and Lieutenant Ray Silcox. They are both dressed in their military uniforms as they demonstrate the old packing method in individual boxes.
