Description

The Sixth Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. The lively event draws large crowds, often doubling the town's population. In attendance, left to right, are G. E. Frederick and his father, P. T. Frederick. Both men have Texaco patches on their shirts. G. E. is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves, and trousers. P. T. came to Dalhart in 1889 and has worked for a number of ranches in the area, including XIT. He is wearing a hat, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers.
