Description

The Sixth Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. The lively event draws large crowds, often doubling the town's population. In attendance, left to right, are Allyn Finch, J. C. Parker, C. E. Coombes Junior, Willie Stewart, and Dan Spencer. Mr. Finch is the rodeo manager and vice president. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, button-up shirt, and trousers. Mr. Parker, secretary-treasurer, is wearing a cowboy hat, dress shirt, and trousers. Mr. Coombes is chairman of the old-timers committee. He is wearing a hat, plaid shirt, and trousers. Mr. Stewart, chairman of parades, is wearing a cowboy hat, dress shirt, necktie, trousers, and cowboy boots. Mr. Spencer, president, is dressed in a cowboy hat, plaid shirt, and trousers. The men are standing in the middle of a road. A tire shop is in the background.
