Description
Boy Scouts Herbert Allred, 12, left, and John Biggers, 13, put in 12 hours a day for nine days rendering curb service and watching the aluminium piled in Peter Smith Park during the collection for national defense. Herbert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Allred and John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Biggers. The scouts are standing against a blank wall, wearing their uniforms.
