    Description

    The Hemphill Presbyterian Church is preparing their young parishioners to carry on in place of their elders. Four of the Christian Endeavor Society leaders, left to right, are Miss Emma Jean McBride, Charles Miller, Miss Mable Soule and Joe P. Murphy. Miss McBride is the president of Young Peoples Christian Endeavor Society. She is wearing a dress and a necklace. Mr. Miller is the past president of the society and currently a student at Tarrant County High School. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Miss Soule is the president of the countywide society. She is wearing a dress with an airplane pattern and a matching blazer. Mr. Murphy is a ministerial student. He will preach Sunday in place of the regular pastor. He is dressed in a dark suit.
