Say Happy Valentines with flowers, candy, jewelry, books, apparel, cards, household furnishings, parties, shows or by word of mouth, but be sure to say it. Take a tip from Pitts Crudington who is asking Gloria Sadler to be his Valentine. They are both students at Texas Christian University. Pitts is hiding a bouquet of daffodils behind his back. He the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Leta Crudgington of Amarillo, Texas. He is dressed in a hat, shirt, and trousers. Gloria is standing on her front porch steps, peeping to see his back. Gloria is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Sadler of Sweetwater, Texas. She is wearing a blouse, a plaid blazer, pleated skirt, and saddle shoes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 12, 1940.
