    Description

Say Happy Valentines with flowers, candy, jewelry, books, apparel, cards, household furnishings, parties, shows or by word of mouth, but be sure to say it. Take a tip from an age-old story being carved in the tree trunk. Claude Johnson Junior is holding the hand of his Valentine, Suzanne Smith as he carves their initials into a tree trunk, "C.J .... S.S." Claude is the six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Johnson. He is dressed in a collared shirt, a striped sweater, and trousers. Suzanne is the three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert K. Smith Junior. She is wearing a dress and coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 12, 1940.
