Description
Say Happy Valentines with flowers, candy, jewelry, books, apparel, cards, household furnishings, parties, shows or by word of mouth, but be sure to say it. Take a tip from S. J. Criss who is carrying a heart-shaped box of chocolates for his two valentines. The lucky young girls are his granddaughters, Ella Jean and Elise Waggoner, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Waggoner II. Mr. Criss is heading down the steps of the Elks Club, which he helped found forty-one years earlier. He is wearing a hat and a three piece suit. His cane is slung over his arm. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 12, 1940.
