Soldiers are gathering around a table, being served free coffee and cookies at the United Service Organization (U. S. O.) headquarters at Hotel Texas. The soldiers are, left to right, Sergeant R. M. Anderson, from Camp Bowie, Private John Wilk, New York, from Camp Wolters, Private Frank Green, from Camp Bowie, Private Jim Bogle, from Camp Barkeley, and Staff Sergeant Joe Von Helf, from Camp Barkeley, Miss Sylvia Rosenthal and Miss Felice Richker are serving the soldiers the coffee and cookies; they are hostesses representing the Jewish Welfare Board. Miss Rosenthal is wearing a floral print dress. Miss Richker is wearing a dress and a hat. The soldiers are wearing their military uniforms. On the table are flower arrangements, a coffee machine and various tableware.
