Description
A revised law removed the tax exemption from state, county and city employees and school teachers. Miss Clara Belle Porter, is an Arlington Heights High School teacher. She is filling out her returns for the first time, with the aid of Deputy Collector George L. Addison. Miss Porter is dressed in her uniform, as cadet sponsor of the high school. Mr. Addison is standing next to the desk, wearing three piece, double breasted suit, tie and eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 9, 1940.
