Description
Communications personnel of the 36th Division at Camp Bowie moved out for command post exercises. Private Clyde W. Robertson, of Houston, Texas, member of the Headquarters Company, 144th Infantry, is using a field telephone switchboard to route a call between the front lines and regimental headquarters. He is wearing his military uniform and is kneeling on the grass to work on the switchboard. Private Robertson was a football and basketball letterman at Texas Christian University in 1928-30.
