Description
Communications personnel of the 36th Division at Camp Bowie moved out for command post exercises. Technician Sergeant Claude M. Mair Junior, of Fort Worth, Texas, member of the Headquarters Company, 144th Infantry, is shown sitting at the radio controls. He sends messages home for the members of the unit through his licensed radio station, W5IA. Mair is wearing his military uniform and has on headphones. He is turning a dial on the radio with his right hand.
