Description

Floods plagued many West Texas communities over the weekend running deep into city streets and causing damage. A house like this in the vicinity of the Seymour Cotton Mill completely surrounded by water had to be reached by boat. Depth of the water is indicated by submergence of an automobile up to its tires. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 5, 1941.
