Description
One of the floats in the parade at the Borden County 50th anniversary celebration, which carried former officials of the county. The men are, left to right, D. Darwood, A. J. Cantrell, J. D. Darwood, J. S. Weatherford, Tom Good and C. E. Reeder. The men are all wearing dark suits and brimmed hats. A few of them are also wearing eyeglasses and holding walking canes to their sides. They are seated on a wooden carriage that has a sign that reads, "Former County Officials." The carriage is decorated with flowers and a small, make-shift house that sits on top. Behind the men is another attached carriage carrying the "Belles of 1891."
