    Description

    The Weatherford Rotary-Lions Club is holding a joint luncheon to honor Brigadier General William Hood Simpson. The general is a native son of Parker County, Texas and the commander of Camp Wolters. Attending the luncheon are Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Holland. Mrs. Hollard is wearing a hat, dress, brooch, and a coat. Mr. Holland, a Weatherford, Texas banker, presented Mrs. Simpson with a towel he wove on his hand loom. He is dressed in a three piece pinstripe suit with a bow tie. The couple is sitting at a long table, with an unidentified man on the left. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 9, 1941.
