The Weatherford Rotary-Lions Club is holding a joint luncheon to honor Brigadier General William Hood Simpson. The general is a native son of Parker County, Texas and the commander of Camp Wolters. Attending the luncheon left to right are G. C. Boswell, Mrs. Boswell, Mrs. Fred Measures and Mr. Measures. Mr. Boswell is the Rotary president. He is dressed in a suit. Mrs. Boswell is wearing a hat with feathers and a dress with embroidered sleeves. Mrs. Measures is wearing hat and a button-up dress. Her pince-nez glasses are hanging from her collar. Mr. Measures is the Lions president. He is dressed in a three piece suit. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, April 9, 1941.
