Mrs. Elizabeth Simpson, eighty-three, is sitting by her stone fireplace at her ranch home between Fort Worth and Weatherford, Texas. The proud mother is admiring pictures of her son, Brigadier General William Hood Simpson. General Simpson is being transferred to Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas where he will serve as commanding officer of the camp. Mrs. Simpson is wearing a blouse, sweater, and a skirt. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, March 18, 1941.
