Description
Brigadier General William Hood Simpson is being transferred to Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas where he will serve as commanding officer of the camp. General Simpson stopped at the Texas and Pacific Railway Station coffee shop while en route to Mineral Wells, Texas. With him left to right are Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson, General Simpson, Major E. P. Seltzer, Mrs. William H. Simpson, and Miss Betty Simpson. John Simpson in the General's brother. He is dressed in a pinstripe suit. Mrs. John Simpson is wearing a hat, floral dress, and a coat. General Simpson is dressed in a three piece suit. Major Seltzer, Camp Wolters adjutant, is wearing his military uniform. Mrs. William H. Simpson is dressed in a hat, blouse, blazer, and a skirt. Betty is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson. She is wearing a blouse, sweater, and a skirt. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, March 22, 1941.
