    Description

    Troops from the 45th Infantry Division are arriving at Camp Barkeley, the new training facility near Abilene, Texas. Military trucks carried the division 230-miles from Fort Sill, Oklahoma. After moving in on Friday, the division went to work on Saturday. Washing windows at the mess hall, left to right, are Private E. C. Baldin and Private F. R. Utzman. The men are members of the Company M. 179th Infantry. Private Baldin is sitting on the edge of the window and leaning out to wash the top portion. He is wearing a cap, coat, and jeans. Private Utzman is standing outside the window. He is dressed in a side cap, coat, and jeans.
