Description

Troops from the 45th Infantry Division are arriving at Camp Barkeley, the new training facility near Abilene, Texas. Military trucks carried the division 230-miles from Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The division cooks are moving into their well-equipped kitchen. The picture captured the busy scene in one of the officers' mess halls.
