Description
Troops from the 45th Infantry Division are arriving at Camp Barkeley, the new training facility near Abilene, Texas. Military trucks carried the 10,000 men 230-miles from Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Enlisted men and officers are gathering in the mess hall for the first luncheon since the transfer. Pictured on the right side of the table are Major George B. Brown, second from left, Lieutenant Colonel Roy W. Kenny, and Major General William S. Key. The men are dressed in their military uniforms. Four unidentified men and a women are also seated at the table. Hats are hanging from hooks in the background.
