    Description

The Brewer Murder Trial is underway at the Tarrant County Courthouse. S. F. Leslie, left, is a veteran Bonham attorney who was employed as a special prosecutor on the case. Earl T. Brewer is on trial for murdering his son-in-law H. Glen Cox at an east-side apartment on January 10, 1941. H. Glen's marriage to Virginia Brewer, fourteen, led to his death. The Brewers and the Cox Family live on neighboring farms in Fannin County, Texas. Mr. Leslie is sitting at a table, dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit. There is an unidentified man at the right. The desk is covered in papers, notes, and folders. There is a window on the back wall.
