Description
Baseball player Debs Garms is spending the off-season on his 276-acre farm with his family. Garms is a left-handed hitting third basemen. He spent four seasons with the St. Louis Browns, three seasons with the Boston Bees, and the 1940 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the Pirates, Garms hit for a.355 average and won a batting title. He and his wife, Mrs. Debs Garms, are standing in front of a stove. Mrs. Garms is wagging her finger, intercepting her husband in the kitchen before he could steal a bite of supper. She is wearing a dress with daisy print and a lace collar. Mr. Garms is dressed in a plaid shirt and trousers.
