Description
Baseball player Debs Garms is giving a tour of his 276-acre farm during the off-season. He is inside the smokehouse filled with hams, shoulders, bacon, and sausage. Mr. Garms is a left-handed hitting third basemen. He spent four seasons with the St. Louis Browns, three seasons with the Boston Bees, and the 1940 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the Pirates, Garms hit for a.355 average and won a batting title. He is dressed in a leather jacket and a cowboy hat.
