Description
"Old Steamboat" is the loudest voice in town on New Year's Eve. The whistle is the powerhouse of the Lancaster yards of the Texas and Pacific Railway. When the clock strikes twelve on News Year's Eve, volunteers will blow the whistle , which is backed by 250 pounds of steam. The sound can be heard for miles.
