Description
After winning his first bid to the Texas Legislature, Gene Worley is awaiting the day he is sworn in as a congressman. Mr. Worley grew up in Shamrock, Texas, in the Panhandle and is a big fan of football. He was in attendance at the bi-district game between Shamrock and Paducah High School. He is pictured between two baton twirlers: Helen Smith, left, and Beth Jackson. Both girls are students at Paducah High School. They are dressed in their band uniforms. Mr. Worley is dressed in a three-piece suit.
